The Crew

The Beef Night Crew includes me, Kenneth Jackson, two of my best friends  Kim & Beth Parker and assorted other friends. Every Friday we visit a locally owned (for the most part) Amarillo Restaurant and proceed to pig out and have a blast! Over the years a set of rules spoken and unspoken has led to a tradition that we all love and is one of the highlights of any week.

The Sacred and Holy LAWS of Beef Night

  1. Beef Night will take place on every Friday after work without exception!
  2. You can talk about anything at Beef Night!
  3. You can talk about “ANYTHING” at Beef Night!
  4. You can talk about anything at Beef Night but you can’t do it with a cell phone, text message or other signaling mechanism!
  5. Anyone caught using a mobile device without unanimous consent after being seated at the Sacred Beef Night Table may be pelted with food! (Be prepared to wear a meatball or some  guacamole)
  6. You can bring anyone to Beef Night!
  7. You do not “HAVE” to eat beef at Beef Night but it is highly encouraged except during Lent.
  8. Temporary amendments to Sacred and Holy LAWS of Beef Night may be passed prior to seating at the Sacred Beef Night Table by Super Majority of participants.
  9. No getting sloppy drunk at Beef Night!
  10. Everyone is equal at Beef Night except Beef Night Sponsors reserve budgetary control. The Beef Night “House of Representatives” so to speak and we usually spend like it but there are bad weeks  you know!)

These laws are by no means a way of keeping order, quite the opposite. We have fun and talk about every subject known to man. The good the bad and the ugly are pondered and laughed at. The result fifteen and sixteen year olds that actually like to hang out with us on a regular basis and frank talk about just about everything.

Needless to say we have eaten at a lot of locally owned restaurants and our thoughts and reviews are posted here.
