Lake Meredith National Recreation Area – Fritch, TX - Located 40 miles northeast of Amarillo Lake Meredith included boating, fishing, swimming, camping, hiking, and hunting. Sadly most of these activities are now a bummer because the lake is drying up. Five boat launch ramps and one marina provide access to the lake.
